Rebel Recruitment Limited is seeking a Lead Developer in Nottinghamshire. The role blends hands-on coding with team leadership, taking the reins of an in-house development team and driving cloud-based enterprise applications to the next level.

You will split time between coding (40%+) and leading architecture, planning, and mentoring, ensuring high standards in code quality and security while influencing technical decisions across the stack.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of development experience and prior software team leadership.
• Degree or equivalent experience required.
• Experience with modern stack (.NET 8+, Angular, AWS) and NoSQL (DynamoDB).

Responsibilities

• Lead in-house development team and oversee technical decisions.
• Spend 40% coding; lead sprint planning and backlog shaping.
• Mentor developers and drive code reviews and quality.
• Collaborate with Development Manager, Product Owner and peers.
• Provide production support and incident response.
