Sewell Wallis are partnering exclusively with a market leading, high growth company near Doncaster to recruit a Junior Financial Controller. This newly created role offers a clear path for progression within the finance leadership team and the chance to influence the business during a period of growth.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will own end-to-end management accounts, partner with commercial operations, and oversee a small transactional finance team.

Qualificações

• Qualified or finalist in ACA/ACCA/CIMA with strong end-to-end management accounting experience.
• Proven experience supervising a finance team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong Excel skills and proficiency with accounting software.

Responsabilidades

• Produce full month-end management accounts from start to finish, including accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Assist Finance Director in preparing monthly board packs and ad-hoc financial reporting.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets and operational performance metrics.
• Act as the primary finance business partner to non-finance teams.
• Lead and develop a team of 3 finance staff.
• Oversee day-to-day transactional finance (AP/AR/Credit Control).
• Drive process improvements and maintain robust internal controls.
