Job summary

Darktrace is a global leader in AI-driven cybersecurity, seeking a Junior Credit Controller to join our Cambridge finance team on a hybrid basis, with a minimum of two days in the Cambridge office. You will own an effective credit control process for a designated portfolio, driving cash collection and reducing aged debt while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Candidates with credit control or translatable customer service experience are welcome; a level or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Credit control experience or translatable customer service background.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cash collection of outstanding balances within your portfolio and work towards monthly collection targets.
• Follow credit control procedures: issue statements and dunning letters, contact customers by phone, escalate as needed.
• Answer customer queries with timely, professional responses.
• Allocate payments and maintain the debtors spreadsheet.
• Communicate effectively with sales and technical teams globally.
• Support the wider finance team on projects to improve cash collection and other ad-hoc tasks.
