Job summary

Ingram Micro UK is seeking a Credit Controller to join our Finance team in Milton Keynes on a hybrid basis. You will manage a portfolio of customer accounts, collaborate with Sales, Finance and Credit Risk, and drive cash collection performance.

We welcome applicants at all levels of experience, including those early in their Credit Control careers, and offer development opportunities within a global technology group.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Credit Control role is essential.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders
• Good analytical skills and confidence interpreting financial information
• Confident using Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
• A proactive approach, with the ability to manage priorities and take ownership of issues through to resolution

Responsibilities

• Managing the timely collection of customer debt across a portfolio of key accounts
• Building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to drive payment performance
• Reviewing held orders and making informed decisions to support order release and minimise risk
• Investigating and resolving escalated customer queries and complaints
• Working closely with Sales, Finance, Credit Risk and our third-party collections provider to manage complex accounts
• Producing debtor reporting, cash forecasts and other working capital reports as required
• Supporting continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes and ways of working
