Job summary

AECOM is seeking ambitious Civil & Structural Engineering graduates to join its Bridges & Structures teams. You will work on projects from concept to implementation for clients locally, nationally or internationally, including UK and international offices.

The role offers hybrid work and global project exposure, with a strong focus on delivery, quality and continuous development within GDP and mentorship. Graduates will contribute to design, assessment and renewal studies, while progressing

Qualifications

  • BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering with a 2:1 classification or above.
  • MEng or MSc in Civil or Structural Engineering would be an advantage.
  • Structural modules or Bridge Engineering experience would be an advantage.
  • Good technical understanding of Civil & Structural Engineering.
  • Willing to work towards chartership with ICE or IStructE.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Structural Design across a variety of projects.
  • Bridge Assessment and inspection tasks.
  • Finite Elements Analysis for structural models.
  • Structural inspections and renewal feasibility studies.
  • On-site works supervision and scheme management.
  • Contribute to the design from inception to completion and coordinate with teams.
