Job summary

AECOM is seeking ambitious Civil & Structural Engineering graduates for its Bridges and Structures teams. You will work on projects from concept to implementation for local, national or international clients and may be based in the UK, Europe or beyond.

Graduates will contribute to design, assessment and renewal of bridge structures, with mentoring and on-the-job development within our GDP. Hybrid work options are available across multiple offices worldwide.

Qualifications

• BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering with a 2:1 or above.
• MEng or MSc in Civil or Structural Engineering would be an advantage.
• Structural modules or Bridge Engineering experience would be an advantage.
• Good technical understanding of Civil & Structural Engineering.
• Interest in Bridge Structures Engineering and a career in this industry.
• Willing to work towards ICE/IStructE chartership.
• Proficient Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication with clients, colleagues and stakeholders.
• Enthusiastic, hardworking with ambition and drive.
• Ability to structure and prioritise work with the team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design of structures from inception to completion.
• Assess existing structures across stages including on-site inspection and analysis.
• Manage resources and tasks within a structures scheme.
