Job summary

East Sussex County Council in Lewes is seeking an IT support professional for a fast-paced environment. You will support 1st line agents, resolve routine IT issues, and collaborate with multiple teams across IT&D. The role offers hybrid working between County Hall Lewes and remote days.

The ideal candidate can plan workloads, stay resilient under pressure, and use Microsoft 365 apps (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams) on laptops and corporate devices. Training and development are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a fast-paced IT support environment.
• Ability to plan and organise a varied workload for self and others, working to short deadlines.
• Ability to demonstrate resilience in difficult situations.
• Ability to use Microsoft 365 apps and devices (laptops, corporate iPhones, Surface hubs).
• Ability to produce clear and accessible reports to be shared with managers.
