Job summary

Thomas Search is working with a government assets-focused organisation to recruit a security lead based in Tidworth, Wiltshire. The role focuses on owning the IT security strategy, driving training, and ensuring compliance across the organisation and supply chain.

You will collaborate with cyber and quality teams, manage security incidents and disaster recovery, and report progress to senior stakeholders. Hybrid working: 37.5 hours with some remote days.

Qualifications

• Strong technical experience in information technology security within complex environments.
• Experience in audit, remediation, and compliance activities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, planning and organisational skills.
• Ability to prioritise work to align with business strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead organisation-wide IT security awareness and training.
• Own and drive IT security strategy, roadmap, and compliance.
