Job summary

Softcat is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead infrastructure and managed services projects for diverse public and private sector clients. You will manage end-to-end delivery, coordinating teams across the lifecycle and ensuring successful outcomes for our customers.

A background in customer infrastructure projects and PRINCE2 practice is essential, with a strong focus on collaboration, communication, and problem-solving in a dynamic, people-centric culture at Softcat.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable background in managing customer infrastructure or managed service projects.
• Significant experience managing client-facing infrastructure projects.
• Prince2 Practitioner qualified or proven track record against methodologies.
• Excellent project management skills across complex programs.
• Able to work collaboratively in a people-centric environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of infrastructure and managed services projects for public and private sector customers using PRINCE2 across the full lifecycle.
• Deliver solutions that meet business needs within defined cost, timescale, and quality.
• Coordinate multiple internal service teams, remote resources, third-party vendors and distributors, aligning the right skills.
• Maintain stakeholder engagement and update customers on delivery progress on-site and from the Softcat base.
• Lead projects independently while supporting peers on larger or more complex work.
