Job summary

GMA Consulting in Glasgow is seeking an accomplished Technical IT Project Manager to lead delivery of complex technology and business transformation initiatives across the organisation’s infrastructure.

The role is hybrid, overseeing multiple projects from initiation through to implementation, ensuring delivery within scope, budget and timescales while engaging stakeholders, technical teams and external suppliers.

Qualifications

Proven track record delivering technology projects.
Experience across infrastructure, cloud, applications and data transformations.
Strong governance, risk management and budgeting skills.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Managing projects throughout the full delivery lifecycle.
Discovery and business-case development to implementation.
Project planning, delivery schedules, budgets, resource plans and governance documentation.
Overseeing cross-functional project teams comprising business stakeholders, technical specialists and third-party suppliers.
Project-governance, steering groups, project boards and formal status reporting.
Managing and mitigating risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Establishing relationships with stakeholders at all organisational levels ensuring clear, timely and effective communication throughout delivery.
Supplier and delivery-partner performance to ensure fulfilment of contractual obligations and agreed delivery commitments.
Driving delivery against agreed outcomes.
Continuous improvement of project delivery practices, governance standards.
Ensuring solutions are delivered in alignment with enterprise architecture, security, service management, and operational support requirements.
