Job summary

IT Recruitment Solutions Ltd is recruiting for an IT Helpdesk / Service Desk Support role in Brighton. You will assist business customers with technical queries, troubleshoot faults and own issues through to resolution in a hybrid, Monday-to-Friday environment.

The role offers a base salary of up to £32,000 and benefits, with three days per week in the hybrid model after initial office-based training.

Qualifications

• At least two years’ experience in an IT support, technical helpdesk or service desk role.
• Experience supporting business customers or working with third-party suppliers.
• Strong communication skills and a helpful, professional approach.
• Experience of networking, broadband or VoIP would be beneficial, training provided.

Responsibilities

• Providing technical support to customers by phone, email and a service desk ticketing system
• Investigating and resolving issues across connectivity, networking and communications services
• Logging and prioritising tickets, maintaining accurate records and working within agreed service levels
• Keeping customers informed throughout, coordinating with senior engineers and external suppliers where needed
• Assisting with configuration tasks and service installations
• Helping improve support documentation, internal processes and the customer experience
