Job summary

HSBC is seeking an Integration Delivery and Support Specialist in Sheffield to join the UK Self Service Device engineering team. The role focuses on delivering secure, reliable, and scalable self-service device solutions across the UK, working with global peers and security partners.

You will evaluate new technologies, run proofs-of-concept and troubleshoot OS/product issues while ensuring HSBC security standards are met before deployment.

Qualifications

• Extensive understanding of End Computing security and networking.
• Experience with Windows 10/11 environments.
• Strong knowledge of AD/GPO and SCCM/MECM.
• Ability to write scripts in Bash, PowerShell or Python.
• Familiarity with ITIL/DevOps/Agile concepts and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Support OS, build images and infrastructure software for UK self-service device estate.
• Develop solutions to automate self-service device operations.
• Assist third-party field engineers and helpdesk with deployment issues.
• Own patching and software upgrade processes for devices.
• Participate in audit discussions and remediation for device infra.
• Contribute to hardware evergreen initiatives and global SSD engineering.
• Contribute to Windows protection tool sets.
