Job summary

HSBC is seeking an Integration Delivery and Support Specialist in the UK to shape and run engineering for the Self Service Device estate. You will collaborate with SSD Engineering, global teams, and security partners to deliver secure, reliable solutions across the UK.

You will evaluate new technologies, run POCs, troubleshoot OS issues, and ensure compliance with HSBC security standards before deployment. The role offers development opportunities and a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Extensive understanding of Endpoint security and networking with experience in Windows 10/11.
• Good understanding of Active Directory / GPO and SCCM/MECM infrastructure knowledge.
• Ability to write Bash/VB/PowerShell/Python scripts.
• Knowledge of ITIL/DevOps/Agile concepts and strong troubleshooting experience.
• Knowledge of Confluence/JIRA
• Ability to gather client requirements and work on projects independently.

Responsibilities

• Support the operating systems, build images and infrastructure software on the UK self-service device estate.
• Provide consultancy support on self-service device software development projects.
• Develop solution to automate and simplify self-service device operations.
• Assist third party field engineers and self-service device helpdesk with deployment/BAU issues.
• Own the patching and software upgrade process for self-service devices.
• Assist with audit discussions related to self-service device infrastructure stack and remediate findings.
• Assist with hardware evergreen initiatives.
• Contribute to global self-service device engineering initiatives and potentially lead some projects.
• Contribute to Windows protection tool sets.
