Sweco UK Ltd is seeking an Internal Communications Manager to shape how we engage colleagues across the UK & Ireland. You will translate priorities into clear messages, advise senior leaders and drive strategic campaigns that connect people to Sweco’s strategy and culture.

Based in Leeds with hybrid working (minimum 3 days in the office), you will manage intranets and Viva Engage, lead communications for change and crises, and define measures of success using analytics to boost reach and impact.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in internal communications, employee engagement or strategic communications.
• Strong writing, editing, storytelling and presentation skills.
• Experience developing communication strategies and integrated campaigns.
• Experience managing intranets and other employee communication channels.
• Track record of supporting change, transformation and sensitive communications.
• Ability to translate complex information into clear, audience-focused content.
• Confidence working collaboratively with senior leaders and teams across the entire business.
• Experience using communication data and insight to improve reach and impact.
• Experience within engineering, infrastructure, construction, consultancy or multi-site organisations would be advantageous.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Viva Engage or similar employee platforms would also be beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Act as trusted adviser to senior leaders, shaping strategic communications to meet business and engagement objectives.
• Develop and deliver strategic communications plans and campaigns defining audience, messages, channels and approach.
• Develop clear narratives that connect colleagues to Sweco’s strategy, priorities, culture and purpose.
• Build networks to identify communications needs and proactively propose approaches.
• Translate complex priorities into clear, audience-focused messages.
• Develop briefings, toolkits and talking points for leaders and managers.
• Experience managing intranets and other employee communication channels.
• Lead the launch, adoption and governance of Viva Engage for two-way communication.
• Establish cadence of company briefings, town halls and updates.
• Support or lead communications for change, transformation and crises as part of UK&I Crisis Management Team.
• Define measures of success and use analytics to improve impact.
