Job summary

Broaden is seeking a Senior Technology Platform & Integration Engineer to drive the core technology ecosystem for a fast-scaling InsurTech platform in Bristol. Hybrid work and a hands-on, design‑lead approach will be essential as you bridge cloud platform security with complex software and data integrations.

You will report to the Head of Engineering/CTO, own cloud and security platforms, automate data connections, lead major incident responses, and enforce robust release governance across

Qualifications

• 5+ years in platform, cloud, infra, integration, or software engineering with live services responsibility.
• Experience with live integrations and security controls.
• Desirable: exposure to insurance/fintech or regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Own operation of the core cloud platform and SaaS controls.
• Design, build, configure, and support secure APIs, webhooks, and data feeds across systems to stop manual re-keying.
• Lead technical incident response, coordinate with suppliers, restore service, and perform RCA.
• Use source control, CI/CD, and environment separation; prepare release notes and rollbacks.
