Job summary

Yorkshire Building Society Group is seeking an Identity Operations Engineer to help protect and enable secure access for colleagues, systems and customers across our hybrid environment. The role combines hands-on technical work with ongoing process improvements, with approx.

4–5 days per month onsite in Bradford or Leeds. You will deliver and support identity services such as Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID, work with our MSP, resolve complex incidents and contribute to standards and

Qualifications

• Experience with Active Directory, Entra ID and hybrid identity environments.
• Knowledge of IAM principles and security controls, including MFA and Conditional Access.
• Experience supporting authentication services, SSO and application integrations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.
• Understanding ITIL principles and operational service management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, support and improve identity services across AD and Entra ID.
• Collaborate with MSP to maintain a secure, resilient identity environment.
• Resolve complex incidents, enhance authentication and drive automation.
• Shape Identity Operations standards, processes and roadmaps, and support audits.
