Job summary

Yorkshire Building Society is seeking an Identity Operations Engineer to protect and enable secure access across our hybrid identity estate. You will work with the Identity Operations team to deliver and improve identity services in Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID, collaborating with our MSP to ensure secure, governed access across colleagues and customers.

You will contribute to incident resolution, automation and service improvements while shaping identity standards and roadmaps, with

Qualifications

• Experience supporting identity services across AD and cloud identity
• Knowledge of IAM principles and security controls (MFA, CA)
• Experience supporting authentication services, SSO and app integrations
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills
• Understanding of ITIL principles and operational service management

Responsibilities

• Deliver, support and improve identity services across AD and Microsoft Entra ID
• Maintain secure, resilient identity environment with MSP oversight
• Resolve complex incidents and drive automation and service improvements
• Shape Identity Operations standards, processes and roadmaps, supporting audit and compliance
• Combine hands-on technical work with continuous improvement in a hybrid identity estate
