Job summary
Yorkshire Building Society is hiring two DevOps Engineers to join the Enterprise Engineering team within Change Delivery. The hybrid role involves remote work with some onsite presence in Bradford, England.
You will support platforms, tooling, and applications across delivery and production, collaborating with software development teams to enable change and ensure service quality. You will focus on improving deployment frequency, lead-time, MTTR/MTTD, and change-failure-rate while contributing
Qualifications
- Contemporary CI/CD Pipelines experience with tools like Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab CI/CD.
- Scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash).
- Monitoring with modern tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace).
- Knowledge of networks and routing; experience with digital platforms, APIs and containers.
- Experience with Agile/DevOps methodologies and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring & alerting enhancements to reduce MTTR/ MTTD.
- Automating release management, CI/CD, and non-functional testing to speed deployments.
