Job summary

Leonardo UK Ltd in Southampton is seeking an HSE Coordinator to deliver Health, Safety & Environment support across three sites, including Basildon and Southampton. You will help maintain the HSE management systems and drive improvements within the ISP line of business.

You will coordinate risk assessments, administer PPE, support audits, promote safety culture and liaise with site managers to ensure timely investigations and reporting.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
• Environmental qualification (IEMA/NEBOSH Env Mgmt) or equivalent
• Internal Auditor in ISO 14001/45001/50001
• Experience in manufacturing/engineering environment
• Experience in HSE promotional activity
• Knowledge of UK safety, health and environment regulation

Responsibilities

• Support risk assessments and document routine assessments across departments.
• Identify hazards and recommend controls.
• Manage risk assessment tools and records.
• Administer PPE and maintain records.
• Promote safety awareness and compliance with departments.
• Coordinate HSE meetings and take minutes.
• Liaise with support services for HSE communications.
• Ensure site accident/incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Support site HSE audits and internal procedures.
