Job summary

Wade Macdonald is recruiting an experienced HR Manager for a long-standing training organisation in Aldershot, on a hybrid basis (3 days in the office, 2 from home). You will lead a small HR team, provide hands-on HR leadership during a transition, and partner with managers on employee relations, absence, conduct and performance.

You will ensure policies comply with UK employment law, support recruitment, wellbeing, and workforce analytics, and help implement a new recruitment system.

Qualifications

• Experience leading an HR team and advising managers on ER, absence, conduct and performance.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR policies.
• Experience supporting recruitment and workforce wellbeing initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the HR team to deliver high-quality service.
• Advise managers on employee relations, absence, conduct and performance.
• Ensure HR policies stay compliant and effective.
• Support recruitment, engagement and wellbeing initiatives.
• Use HR data to inform workforce decisions.
• Assist with people projects and implementing new recruitment systems.
