Job summary

Wade Macdonald is recruiting for an Interim Senior HR Advisor for a government client in Slough. The role is hybrid, requiring a minimum of three days in the Slough office, with a daily rate of £250.

You will lead a varied employee relations caseload and advise managers to ensure lawful, policy-compliant decisions. Ideal candidates will have strong HR advisory experience, the ability to interpret employment law, and experience in complex organisations or the public sector.

Qualifications

• Experience providing HR guidance on complex employee relations cases.
• Ability to interpret employment legislation and HR policies.
• Experience in local government or public sector is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage a broad portfolio of complex employee relations cases from initial advice through to resolution.
• Coach and advise managers on disciplinary, grievance, performance, capability and absence matters.
• Support the effective resolution of workplace disputes and sensitive employee issues.
• Provide clear, practical guidance to managers and senior leaders.
• Ensure decisions are consistent with employment legislation and internal HR procedures.
• Collaborate with HR colleagues to deliver a high-quality people service.
• Develop trusted relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.
