Job summary

Wade Macdonald is seeking an experienced HR Manager with a strong focus on school-background benefits. You will lead a small HR team, advise on employee relations, and ensure compliant HR policies across the organisation.

A strategic partner to the Director of Operations, you will drive recruitment, wellbeing initiatives and data-driven decision making. The role requires prior leadership experience and a solid understanding of UK employment law, with CIPD or equivalent qualification desirable.

Qualifications

• Experienced HR Manager with strong employment law knowledge (UK).
• Previous team leadership experience is essential.
• Coming from a school background is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Leading, coaching and supporting the HR team.
• Advising managers on employee relations, absence, conduct and performance.
• Ensuring HR policies and processes remain compliant and effective.
• Supporting recruitment, engagement and wellbeing initiatives.
• Using HR data to support workforce decisions.
• Assisting with people projects and organisational change.
• Supporting the implementation of the new recruitment system.
