Job summary

Bespoke HR in the United Kingdom is seeking an HR Consultant / Employee Relations Advisor to support a portfolio of client organisations with practical, compliant HR guidance. You will handle day-to-day queries, complex ER cases and project work, delivering clear advice and tangible improvements to people practices.

You will lead client meetings, draft contracts and HR documents, develop policies, run audits and stay up-to-date with employment law changes.

Qualifications

• Must have strong HR generalist experience in a consultancy or client-facing role.
• Confident giving advice independently and handling sensitive issues.
• Solid understanding of UK employment law and statutory obligations.
• Excellent communication, organisation and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Advising clients on employee relations, performance, absence and general HR queries.
• Supporting recruitment, onboarding and drafting contracts and HR docs.
• Leading client meetings and acting as their go-to HR contact.
• Pulling together policies, handbooks and tailored documentation.
• Carrying out HR audits and providing practical recommendations.
• Keeping clients informed on employment law updates.
• Collaborating with operations to deliver seamless service.
