Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group is seeking an Assistant Human Resources Manager for a 12-month FTC in Milton Keynes, with hybrid working. The role covers employee relations, people initiatives, and regional workforce support across offices.

You will coach and mentor a Trainee Advisor, support leadership teams with local priorities, and contribute to continuous improvement projects while building strong stakeholder relationships. Travel 2-3 times weekly is expected.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a HR Advisor, HR Business Partner or HR Manager level role.
• Strong employee relations knowledge and case management experience.
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Confidence working with senior leaders and influencing decision-making.
• Experience supporting and delivering HR projects and people initiatives.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret people data and trends.
• A passion for creating positive employee experiences and driving continuous improvement
• Experience in people management

Responsibilities

• Managing and advising on a range of employee relations cases.
• Supporting the delivery of regional people plans aligned to wider business objectives.
• Leading and contributing to People Experience projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Building strong relationships across multiple offices and business areas.
