Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group, Milton Keynes-based client, is seeking an experienced HR professional to join on a 12-month fixed-term contract as Assistant Human Resources Manager. Hybrid working with travel to regional sites 2-3 times weekly.

You will partner with managers and directors, provide expert HR support, manage employee relations cases, and drive regional people plans and People Experience projects. Coaching a Trainee Advisor and supporting leadership teams are key parts of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience at HR Advisor/HR Business Partner/HR Manager level.
• Strong employee relations knowledge and case management experience.
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Confidence working with senior leaders and influencing decision-making.
• Experience delivering HR projects and people initiatives.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret people data and trends.
• Passion for creating positive employee experiences and driving continuous improvement.
• Experience in people management.

Responsibilities

• Managing and advising on a range of employee relations cases.
• Supporting the delivery of regional people plans aligned to wider business objectives.
• Leading and contributing to People Experience projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Building strong relationships across multiple offices and business areas.
• Coaching, mentoring and developing a Trainee Advisor.
• Supporting leadership teams with local people priorities and workforce challenges.
