Job summary

The Mining Remediation Authority in the United Kingdom is seeking a HR Advisor on an Inside IR35 six-month contract. Hybrid role with 1–2 days per week at the Mansfield office.

You will provide professional people advice to managers and colleagues, ensuring fair, legal, policy-aligned processes and strong stakeholder relationships. Key duties include advising on employee relations, supporting investigations, maintaining case records, coordinating attendance and flexible working requests, and

Qualifications

• Experience managing varied employee relations caseloads including disciplinary, grievance and attendance.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and Acas Code of Practice for compliant processes.
• Ability to interpret HR policies and maintain accurate records.
• Confidentiality and high service standards are essential.

Responsibilities

• Advise managers on employee relations matters, policies and procedures.
• Support investigations, prepare documentation, attend formal meetings and advise on outcomes.
• Maintain HR case management records and support monthly People meetings.
• Coordinate attendance management and flexible working requests with policy compliance.
• Conduct colleague engagement activities and support change initiatives.
