Job summary

Sellick Partnership is recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor to join a public sector client in Oldbury on a hybrid basis. The role supports the HR team with professional HR guidance to managers and staff while helping to implement new HR policies and procedures.

Key duties include managing the HR mailbox, handling employee relations queries, supporting projects, and assisting with absence management, restructures and change processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering HR advice to managers and staff.
• Knowledge of HR policies, procedures and employment law.
• Experience within public sector HR is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Maintain HR mailbox and handle employee relations queries in line with policy.
• Support delivery of key projects linked to the organisation's people strategy.
• Develop, review and implement HR policies and procedures.
• Provide guidance to managers and staff on terms, conditions and HR policies.
• Coordinate sickness absence management and related processes.
• Assist with restructuring and organisational change activities.
• Support HR administration during peak workloads and absences.
• Support development, learning and employee engagement initiatives.
