Job summary

A well-established law firm in East London is seeking a HR Advisor / Senior HR Advisor to join the friendly HR team. The role offers hybrid working (two days in the office, three days from home) and a broad HR remit across the employee lifecycle.

Reporting to the HR Director, you will provide proactive HR support, focusing on employee relations, performance management and people initiatives. CIPD Level 5 or 7 is required, with solid generalist HR experience and UK employment law knowledge.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 or Level 7 qualification with solid HR generalist experience.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations.
• Experience advising and coaching managers on ER matters.

Responsibilities

• Advise and coach managers on employee relations matters (disciplinary, grievance, capability, performance, attendance, flexible working).
• Support managers through formal processes with fair, compliant decisions.
• Involvement in onboarding/offboarding, performance reviews, L&D, employee engagement and HR projects.
• Improve HR processes using people data and technology to enhance the employee experience.
