Job summary

Meritus is recruiting for an HR Advisor to join our client in the defence sector at Stevenage. The role is a 12-month contract with a hybrid working pattern, typically 3-4 days onsite per week, and BPSS clearance is required.

You will provide HR operational and administrative support across the employee lifecycle, collaborating with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and management to drive key HR processes and ensure a positive employee experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR administration, advisory or people operations.
• Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding and induction activities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience producing HR reports and workforce data analysis.
• Ability to work independently and with teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and administrative HR support across the employee lifecycle.
• Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition and management stakeholders.
• Support delivery of key HR processes and ensure a positive employee experience.
• Involved in employee relations, recruitment, onboarding and payroll/attendance processes.
• Assist with immigration administration, data reporting and HR project work.
