Job summary

Aspire Supported Living CIC in Birmingham is seeking a full-time Housing Officer to join our frontline team. This hybrid role combines on-site tenancy management with some remote work to support residents in our supported housing program.

You will handle tenancies, respond to tenant queries, address anti-social behaviour, liaise with external agencies, and ensure compliance with housing policies while helping residents sustain their tenancies through ongoing guidance.

Qualifications

• Strong tenancy and housing management skills.
• Experience addressing anti-social behaviour.
• Experience in supportive housing with vulnerable individuals.
• Effective communication and liaison with partner agencies.
• Experience in social housing or homelessness services; related qualification beneficial.
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload; use digital tools for records.
• Understanding of safeguarding, equality, and non-discriminatory practice.

Responsibilities

• Manage tenancies and support residents in supported housing.
• Address anti-social behaviour issues and ensure policy compliance.
• Conduct property inspections and maintain accurate records.
• Liaise with external agencies and respond to tenant queries.
• Identify at-risk individuals and facilitate referrals into appropriate accommodation.
• Support residents to sustain tenancies through ongoing guidance.
