Bracknell Forest Council is recruiting a Housing Led Officer to support customers experiencing homelessness. The role involves intensive, person-centred assistance to help establish and sustain tenancies, with flexible arrangements including working from home and a minimum two days per week in the Time Square office.

You will manage a small caseload, assess needs and risks, and coordinate plans to enable long-term accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Provide flexible, person-centred support to homeless customers with multiple and complex needs who are being accepted into the Housing-Led Service.
• Manage a small caseload, providing intensive and ongoing support for up to two years to help customers establish and sustain their tenancy and progress towards permanent accommodation.
• Deliver support within customers’ homes and the community, tailored to individual needs and aspirations.
• Work assertively with customers around treatment and other support needs, promoting choice, independence and long-term tenancy sustainment.
