Job summary

RGB Recruitment Ltd in Northampton is seeking a Highway Engineer to design road layouts, junctions, drainage and active travel provisions. You will support planning submissions and produce technical reports within a Civil and Structural Engineering consultancy that handles residential developments and major schemes.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil 3D or similar, plus knowledge of DMRB and local standards. Hybrid working may be available.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar design software.
• Knowledge of DMRB and local authority standards.

Responsibilities

• Highway design & development of estate roads, junctions and drainage.
• Prepare detailed drawings, calculations, specifications and reports; support submissions.
• Coordinate with clients, planning teams and authorities to deliver projects on time.
