Job summary

RGB Network in Derby is seeking a Civil Engineer or Senior Civil Engineer to join their highways and drainage team. You will deliver highway and drainage designs across development and infrastructure schemes, supporting feasibility studies and taking growing responsibility for project delivery and client relations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in civil engineering consultancy environments.
• Knowledge of highway and drainage design requirements and UK standards.

Responsibilities

• Producing detailed highway and drainage designs.
• Developing drainage strategies for development projects.
• Designing surface water and foul drainage systems.
• Designing SuDS and related infrastructure.
• Preparing highway layouts, access arrangements and infrastructure designs.
• Producing technical drawings, calculations and specifications.
• Liaising with clients, authorities and contractors.
• Supporting planning and technical approval processes.
• Assisting with project management and coordinating design deliverables.
• Reviewing designs and mentoring junior engineers.
