Citigroup in Belfast is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead and coordinate large-scale initiatives across global teams. You will partner with CIO Central governance and technology leads to deliver key programs on time and within budget.

Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and planning skills are essential to align objectives and drive value across functions and regions. The role offers a hybrid work model with up to 2 days at home per week plus mentorship and ongoing learning.

Qualifications

• Senior program management experience supporting the delivery of high value projects.
• Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and expectations
• Extensive experience managing broad scale programs across various disciplines.
• Ability to organize and prioritize critical issues and information to facilitate efficient decision making, providing oversight and guidance to team projects of highest priority and importance.
• Ability to develop project plans, manage individual deadlines and goals.
• Knowledge of project metrics, including gathering, reporting, trend analysis, creation, and metrics.
• Ability to identify issues and problems, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Drives a diverse team across multiple time zones, supporting critical programs and deliverables
• Ensures all stakeholders are identified and included in scope definition activities
• Understands the program schedule and key milestones whilst receiving regular updates
• Manages multiple projects at the same time
• Owns project goals leveraging expertise to inspire a sense of shared purpose within the project team
• Organizes new challenges and drive business results
• Uses best practice PMO methodology to create a project plan to fit the stakeholders/customers' needs and deliver within budget on desired outcomes
• Defines, teaches, and enforces the use of good project management practices such as techniques in resolving complex, interdependent activities into tasks and sub-tasks that are documented, monitored and controlled
• Identifies and where required amends the approach to the context and constraints of each project
• Articulates problems, brings the right people together to solve problems and knows when the problem has been properly addressed and closed
