Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group is hiring a Google Cloud Network DevOps Engineer. You will design and evolve secure GCP networking services, build IaC with Terraform, and support hybrid cloud connectivity across production and non-production environments.

You’ll work in a collaborative engineering culture that values security, reliability and scalability, contributing to the next generation of cloud platforms for the Group.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience engineering GCP networking solutions (VPCs, Cloud Interconnect, VPC Peering, Cloud Routers, Firewalls, DNS, Load Balancers, Private Connectivity).
• Strong Terraform usage to deploy and manage infrastructure as code.
• Practical DevOps experience with modern tooling (Git, Terraform Cloud, GitHub or Harness).
• Experience designing, deploying and supporting services with security, compliance and reliability from outset.
• Ability to collaborate across teams while improving engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Designing, building and evolving secure, resilient and automated GCP networking services.
• Developing and maintaining IaC solutions using Terraform.
• Supporting and improving cloud networking across environments.
• Collaborating with engineers and platform teams to enable secure connectivity and modern delivery.
• Embedding security, reliability and observability into services.
• Contributing to operational excellence via code reviews and continuous improvement.
