Job summary

Automation Consultants is seeking a full-stack engineer for our product teams. You will own features across the frontend, backend and cloud infrastructure, collaborating with senior engineers to grow your craft and ship reliable software daily.

You will use AI coding assistants, write unit and integration tests, and work in AWS and Atlassian Forge. The role emphasizes learning, certifications, and delivering value to thousands of customers.

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science or equivalent numerate subject.
• At least 1 year of professional software development experience.
• Evidence of building projects or contributions to open source.
• Proficiency in at least one modern language (JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Experience delivering web apps across front end and back end.

Responsibilities

• Design and build features across the stack, end-to-end for smaller projects.
• Utilise AI coding assistants and agentic tools in daily work.
• Write unit and integration tests and participate in end-to-end testing.
• Fix bugs, including production issues, and perform code reviews.
• Work with AWS and Atlassian Forge in our cloud infra and upcoming features.
• Contribute to AI-powered feature development across products.
