Job summary

B&Q Limited is seeking an Assistant Supply Chain Analyst for a 9-month fixed-term contract with hybrid working (2 days per week in the office). The role supports day-to-day supply chain activities, forecasting and replenishment of specified product ranges, and stock flow management to ensure availability across channels.

The successful candidate will assist with forecasts, manage orders, and work with the Stock Team to deliver targets. Eligible for pension, PMI, ShareSave and generous holidays.

Qualifications

• Ability to analyse complex data efficiently.
• Understanding of forecasting and replenishment systems desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy under tight deadlines.
• Good understanding of KPIs such as availability and inventory days.

Responsibilities

• Support forecasting and replenishment setup to maximise product availability.
• Deliver stock/inventory days targets to meet sales plans.
• Raise import and domestic orders as requested.
• Manage proposals from forecasting systems and input DC store products.
• Ensure orders are raised in a timely manner and data is aligned.
• Log orders, shipments and receipts into DC systems.
• Run reports on order management and product flow as needed.
• Coordinate with vendors to meet requirements and compliance.
• Assist with administrative tasks related to imports/domestic stock flows.
