Job summary

Konjiki at Battersea Power Station is recruiting a Front of House Team Member to work across both bartending and restaurant service in a hybrid role as the venue opens.

The role offers around 40–45 hours per week, a full-time permanent contract, and pay of £18.50 per hour (with an average £4.50 tronc). Training across both bartending and service is provided, with opening-week duties and opportunities to grow with the team.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of hospitality experience in both waiting tables and bartending.
• Experience with full table service and taking orders.
• Excellent customer service and attentive service.
• Knowledge of food and drinks menus including allergens.
• Proficiency in digital table-management and POS systems.
• Strong communication and teamwork across floor, bar and kitchen.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience making cocktails; training provided on recipes.
• Knowledge of bar setup, stock rotation, and bar maintenance.
• English proficiency and UK work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Bartending and table service responsibilities with flexible shifts.
• Provide warm, friendly service and take accurate orders.
• Serve food and drinks and attend to guests throughout their meal.
• Clear, clean and reset tables promptly.
• Use digital POS and reservation systems to manage orders.
• Complete opening, closing, cleaning and restocking duties.
• Prepare cocktails, mocktails, wine, sake and beers to a high standard.
• Set up and close the bar; keep stocked.
• Stock rotation and bar maintenance.
• Work across bar, floor and bar-support as needed.
• Coordinate with kitchen and FOH team to maintain service.
• Follow all hygiene, safety, licensing and allergen procedures.
