Job summary

Konjiki, a family-run Japanese restaurant, is recruiting a Front of House Team Member to join the opening team and support both bartending and restaurant service at Battersea Power Station. The role is hybrid, with shifts that mix bar work and floor service, and starts at the Kensington site before relocating as opening progresses.

The successful candidate will blend hospitality with Japanese-inspired drinks knowledge, working across bar, floor, and front-of-house duties to deliver memorable

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of hospitality experience in both waiting tables and bartending.
• Experience in full table service: taking orders, serving, clearing tables.
• Excellent customer service with warm, attentive service.
• Knowledge of food and drinks menus with allergens.
• Proficiency with digital POS and table-management systems.
• Strong communication and teamwork across floor, bar and kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, friendly service to every guest across bar and floor.
• Take accurate orders and advise on ingredients, allergens and requests.
• Serve, clear and reset tables; manage table assignments with POS systems.
• Prepare cocktails, garnishes and drinks to a high standard.
• Work flexibly between bartending, floor duties and bar-support roles.
