Job summary

Konjiki London is recruiting a Kitchen Porter for our Battersea Power Station location. This full-time, permanent role supports chefs and the front-of-house team by maintaining cleanliness and organisation in a fast-paced kitchen.

You will work 40–45 hours per week over 4–5 days, earning £15.00 per hour with an average £2 tronc (not guaranteed). Experience is preferred but not required; commitment to high standards is essential.

Qualifications

• English proficiency sufficient to understand instructions and safety procedures.
• Authorisation to work in the UK is essential.
• Previous experience as Kitchen Porter or in a professional kitchen is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes, cutlery, glassware, pots, pans and kitchen utensils efficiently and thoroughly.
• Operates and maintains dishwashing equipment correctly.
• Ensures clean dishes and equipment are returned to their places during service.
• Keeps the washing area clean, tidy and organised throughout service.
• Supports chefs and wider kitchen team to maintain a smooth service.
