Are you passionate about hospitality, enjoy making great drinks and love creating memorable experiences for guests?
We're looking for an experienced and versatileFront of House Team Memberto join the opening team at our new Battersea restaurant, working across bothbartending and table service.
Who We Are
We're a family-run Japanese restaurant , with our first London restaurant based in Kensington, and we're now excited to be opening our second branch at Battersea Power Station , where this role will be based.
This is a hybrid role. Some shifts may be primarily behind the bar, others on the restaurant floor, while some may combine serving and bar support. As this is a new opening, the balance between bartender and server shifts will vary according to business and staffing needs.
Our goal is to create an exceptional dining experience, and we believe that starts with a happy and passionate team. We genuinely care about our customers and each other, and we're looking for someone who shares those values. We believe great restaurants are built by people who work hard, support one another and take pride in what they do.
What We’re Looking For
Above all else, we're looking for someone who iskind, conscientious and reliable, and genuinely cares about helping both their colleagues and our guests.
We're incredibly proud of the culture we've built within our existing team, where people proactively support one another. We're looking for someone who will reinforce that culture — treating everyone with kindness and respect while working together to achieve the highest standards.

  • At least 1 year of previous hospitality experience, including experience in both waiting tables and bartending.
  • Experience and competence in full table service, including accurately taking orders, serving food/drinks, clearing/resetting tables, and looking after guests throughout their meal.
  • Excellent customer service skills , with the ability to provide warm, attentive and professional service, proactively recognising and responding to guests’ needs.
  • Ability to develop a thorough knowledge of food and drinks menus, including allergens, to accurately advise guests.
  • Ability to quickly become proficient in digital table-management and POS systems.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills with a good awareness of service flow and effective coordination between floor, bar and kitchen.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, work efficiently and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience making mixed drinks and cocktails(we'll teach you our own Japanese-inspired recipes and standards).
  • Good knowledge of bar setup/closing procedures, stock rotation, cleaning and bar maintenance.
  • A friendly and conscientious nature — being consistently considerate of colleagues and guests, whilst showing a strong work ethic and sense of responsibility.
  • A positive professional attitude, eagerness to learn and passion for hospitality.
  • Ability to closely and consistently follow service procedures, protocols and drink recipes.
  • Ability to positively respond and improve following feedback.
  • Strong attention to detail, with high standards of service, drink presentation, cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Willingness to work flexibly across bar, floor and bar-support roles according to the needs of the service.
  • English proficiency and authorisation to work in the UK are essential.
  • An interest in Japanese food, drinks or hospitality is a bonus.

What You’ll Be Doing
Your responsibilities will vary betweenbartending, table service and combined bar-support/front-of-house duties, depending on the shift and needs of the restaurant.
Guest & Table Service

  • Providing warm, friendly and attentive service to every guest.
  • Taking accurate food and drink orders, advising guest on ingredients/flavour profiles/allergens, whilst communicating special requests clearly.

Working as One FOH Team more broadly
