Job summary

Talentmark is recruiting a Finance Analyst on a 12-month contract in Basingstoke. The role is hybrid (3 days onsite) and supports the yearly plan, forecasts and month-end reporting. Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel/PowerPoint required; Power Query/Power BI/Python a plus.

Experience in FP&A or similar finance roles is essential, with the ability to communicate financial insights to non-finance colleagues. Basic AI tool familiarity desirable.

Qualifications

Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related subject.
Previous FP&A, finance, accounting experience or similar role.
Strong analytical skills and ability to turn financial data into insights.
Good Excel and PowerPoint skills; Power Query/Power BI/VBA/Python are a plus.
Able to explain finance clearly to non-finance colleagues; experience with generative AI tools or SAP/SAC is a plus.

Responsibilities

Support yearly business plan and forecasts.
Manage forecast models and track accuracy.
Prepare month-end reports and comments per accounting policies.
Explain spend variances and forecast accuracy to budget owners.
Collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain and HR to give financial advice.
Use Claude and tools like Power Query to speed up analysis and automate tasks.
