This hybrid role focuses on ownership of annual planning, budgeting, forecasting, and presenting management information; ideal for a qualified CCAB accountant with strong Excel and Power BI skills.

Qualifications

• Full CCAB qualification and post-qualified experience.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial planning experience.
• Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills.
• Advanced Excel/spreadsheet capability.
• Ability to interpret complex information and turn it into clear recommendations.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders across different areas of an organisation.
• Experience of improving processes and introducing new ways of working.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work under pressure.
• Experience of coaching or developing finance professionals.
• Experience with Power BI or similar reporting and data visualisation tools.

Responsibilities

• Own the annual planning, budgeting and forecasting cycle.
• Develop financial forecasts, scenarios and sensitivity analyses.
• Produce insightful management reports for senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with operational leaders to understand performance and opportunities.
• Provide financial input into business cases and change programmes.
• Identify financial risks and develop practical solutions.
