Job summary

Proclinical is seeking a Finance Analyst to join a dynamic team in Basingstoke, UK, on a hybrid working model (3 days onsite, 2 days remote). The role focuses on financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for the Northern European Hub, providing actionable insights to support decision-making and operational performance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in financial planning, analysis, accounting, or a similar field.

Responsibilities

• Support annual business planning and ongoing forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with objectives.
• Maintain and improve forecast models, tracking accuracy and recommending enhancements.
• Analyze key performance drivers and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Challenge assumptions and support decisions with robust financial analysis.
• Assist budget owners in understanding spend variances and forecast accuracy.
• Prepare month-end reports and commentary in line with accounting policies.
• Collaborate with finance leadership on forecasts, highlighting deviations from plans.
• Support ad hoc analyses, business cases, and project requests as needed.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders, acting as a trusted financial advisor.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain, and HR on financial initiatives.
• Utilize AI tools to enhance analysis, draft commentary, and streamline processes.
• Identify and automate repetitive tasks using Power Query and related tools.
