Job summary

Talentmark is recruiting a Finance Analyst on a 12-month contract in Basingstoke. The role is hybrid (3 days onsite) and supports the yearly plan, forecasts and month-end reporting. Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel/PowerPoint required; Power Query/Power BI/Python a plus.

Experience in FP&A or similar finance roles is essential, with the ability to communicate financial insights to non-finance colleagues. Basic AI tool familiarity desirable.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related subject.
• Previous FP&A, finance, accounting experience or similar role.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to turn financial data into insights.
• Good Excel and PowerPoint skills; Power Query/Power BI/VBA/Python are a plus.
• Able to explain finance clearly to non-finance colleagues; experience with generative AI tools or SAP/SAC is a plus.

Responsibilities

Talentmark are recruiting for a Finance Analyst to join a company in the pharmaceutical industry on a contract basis for 12 months. This role is hybrid, based in Basingstoke (3 days onsite). There is potential for extension.

Our client is one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world. They focus on finding answers for some of the world's most urgent medical needs.

Salary

21.37 to 27.16 per hour PAYE, depending upon experience.

Finance Analyst Role

• Support the yearly business plan and the regular forecasts.
• Look after forecast models and track how accurate they are.
• Prepare month-end reports and comments in line with accounting policies.
• Work with budget owners to explain spend, variances and forecast accuracy.
• Work with teams such as Marketing, Supply Chain and HR. Give them clear financial advice.
• Use Claude and tools like Power Query to speed up analysis and automate repetitive tasks.

Your Background

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related subject.
• Previous experience in FP&A, finance, accounting or a similar business role.
