Job summary

Novara People Ltd is recruiting an experienced FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative for our busy distribution operation in Dunnington, York. The role is hybrid, combining FLT operation with general warehouse duties to support the team across deliveries to the UK.

Typical hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 6:00pm with weekend flexibility during busy periods. Personal protective equipment (Hi-vis and safety boots) is essential on site.

Qualifications

• Valid FLT licence/certificate required.
• Experience in warehouse/distribution environment.
• Hybrid FLT and warehouse duties.
• Manual handling up to 10 kg.
• Reliable with good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Operating an FLT safely around the warehouse.
• Loading and unloading containers and vehicles.
• Moving and locating stock within the warehouse.
• Pallet movement and stock organisation.
• Supporting with manual loading and unloading.
• Placing products onto the warehouse line.
• Palletising goods.
• Manual handling of items up to approximately 10kg.
• General warehouse duties when not required on the FLT.
• Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe.
• Following all site Health & Safety procedures.
