Job summary

Novara People Ltd is seeking Warehouse Operatives for a busy distribution site in Dunnington, York. This physical, hands-on role involves standing for long periods and handling items up to around 10kg, with high activity during peak periods.

The successful candidate will join a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment, loading/unloading, moving stock, and ensuring safety and efficiency across the operation.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse is beneficial but not required.
• Able to work at a fast pace in a physical role.
• Must have hi-vis and safety boots.
• Reliable with good attendance.
• Willing to work weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload containers.
• Move stock around the warehouse.
• Place items onto the production/warehouse line.
• Palletise finished goods.
• Carry items up to 10kg.
• Prepare stock for storage and distribution.
• Keep areas clean and safe.
• Follow site Health & Safety procedures.
• Support other warehouse duties during busy periods.
