Job summary

Startup Talents Ltd in London seeks a Fleet Reliability Engineer to join a hardware/software operations team supporting a distributed device management platform. You will maintain 400+ consumer devices, work across two West London data centers, and perform weekly on-site visits to ensure uptime and hardware integration.

The role blends scripting and hands-on hardware tasks, including device deployment, repair, and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Must have a balanced hardware and software skillset (50/50).
• Ability to code and script command lines.
• Hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
• Experience with consumer electronics or embedded systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fleet of 400+ consumer devices in operational condition (coding and repair).
• Physical device management and troubleshooting at two West London data centers.
• Weekly on-site visits (typically once per week, sometimes twice).
• Device deployment, installation, and hardware integration.
• Hands-on work including pulling apart TVs and integrating capture hardware.
