Job summary

Public Services Delivery Scotland (PSD Scotland) seeks an Assistant Fire Safety Advisor to join the Architecture and Design team. You will report to the National Fire Safety Advisors and support management of contractors/consultants while delivering outputs for NDAP and KSAR processes.

The role requires a degree in fire engineering or related subject or equivalent demonstrable experience, with an emphasis on providing technical fire safety guidance across building design projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in fire engineering or related subject or equivalent demonstrable experience.
• Experience in fire safety sector and willingness to learn considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice, guidance and support on a broad range of fire safety issues.
• Assist with development and administration of NHS Scotland Guidance documentation.
• Contribute to research of good practice and innovative thinking in fire safety relating to building design.
• Support Design teams, fire safety advisors during NDAP and KSAR processes.
