Job summary

B&D Reside is seeking a Fire Safety Advisor to strengthen fire safety compliance across its housing portfolio. You will work closely with the Fire Safety Manager and provide specialist technical advice to ensure statutory obligations are met.

The role focuses on complex and higher-risk residential buildings, fire risk management, data governance and building safety information, including the Golden Thread.

Qualifications

• Experience in fire safety/building safety management within complex residential buildings.
• Strong knowledge of UK fire safety regulations and standards.
• Ability to develop and deliver fire safety policies and action plans.

Responsibilities

• Support the Fire Safety Manager in developing policies and annual action plans.
• Undertake fire safety inspections and risk reviews with remediation plans.
• Manage fire risk assessment programmes and ensure timely, high-standard assessments.
• Provide expert technical advice on fire safety across the property portfolio.
• Quality assure fire risk assessments, surveys and remedial works.
• Maintain fire safety risk registers and monitor actions.
